U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY CHAPEL DOME RESTORATION

• Performed field work to investigate leaks and deficiencies in the Chapel flat roofs and copper-clad dome
• Designed the selective replacement and maintenance/ repair for the copper dome and replacement for the Chapel flat roofs
• Designed a through-wall flashing system for the granite and terra cotta masonry parapets lining the Chapel roof perimeter to resolve persistent leak/ deterioration issues
• The design team included: Seal Engineering, Inc., RLF Architecture, Bell Architects, and Silman Associates
