We are currently looking to fill the roles of Jr. Project Engineer and Project Engineer/ Project Associate.  Experience with building envelopes is not necessary.

SR. PROJECT ENGINEER/ ASSOCIATE
(5+ Years Experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Perform field surveys and prepare condition reports of existing roofing, waterproofing, facade and paving systems
  • Prepare drawings, specifications and bid documents for maintenance, repair and replacement work
  • Perform construction compliance inspections and prepare inspection reports
  • Perform Project Manager duties and help oversee scheduling of technical staff
  • Perform business development tasks, including proposal writing

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited school or B.S. in Architecture. EIT preferred

  • Good drafting and communication skills
  • Comfortable on ladders and roofs (most roofs are flat, not sloped)
  • Familiarity with current versions of Windows, Word, Excel
  • Familiarity with AutoCad or other computer-aided design software
  • U.S. citizen

  • Familiarity with AutoCad or other computer-aided design software
  • U.S. citizen

(0 – 25 Years Experience – Multiple Opportunities)

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Perform construction compliance inspections and prepare inspection reports
  • Systems include roofing, waterproofing, air-barriers, through-wall flashings and site paving
  • Potential to work from home
  • Projects are typically in the Washington, DC area, but may stretch from Baltimore to Richmond. Potential for overseas roof inspection for interested candidates who can receive a security clearance.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical specifications
  • Good communication skills
  • Comfortable on swing stages, stack scaffolding, ladders and roofs (most roofs are flat, not sloped)

  • Familiarity with current versions of Windows, Word, Excel

  • Have reliable transportation
