Project Owner:  Architect of the Capitol (AoC)

• Seal Engineering, Inc., has been providing services to AoC under a variety of contracts for over 15 years
• As part of a multi-disciplinary team, participated in a study to evaluate options to replace the roof
• Options included conventional roofing, vegetative roofing, cool roofing, and building integrated photovoltaic roofing
• The final roof design package included Cool Roofing with Energy Star-rated surface with the option for installation of building integrated photovoltaic solar collection system
• Provided AoC with construction phase services including shop drawing review, attendance at progress meetings, and on-call construction inspections
