• Seal Engineering, Inc. provided the roofing and waterproofing design services as part of the project team for this comprehensive building renovation project
• Extensive on-site surveys of the exterior and interior elements supplemented the existing condition background information – in order to provide a sound basis for the redesign effort
• Design elements included increased insulation to meet the current energy code and revision to the existing drainage arrangement to meet the desire for positive drainage and to alleviate extensive existing ponding
• Work included reflective cool roofing, inverted/ plaza/ accessible roofing; foundation waterproofing design, and interior air/ moisture barrier separations between the pool and other conditioned spaces
