• Seal Engineering, Inc. provided the survey, investigation, and design services for the replacement of the existing roofing systems as part of a partial building renovation
• The investigation revealed that all roofing systems on all roof levels for this building, including the courtyard, would require replacement as part of the building renovation
• In coordination with the Prime Architect and Owner, a suitable roofing system design selection was made that provided sustainable systems to include both vegetative and Cool Roofing options
• The courtyard area included replacement of waterproofing system down to structure with a new hot-applied reinforced rubberized asphalt membrane, modification of the drainage system, addition of an overflow drainage system, and the addition of walkways for vegetative roof maintenance
